10,000mAh vs 20,000mAh: choose for your day

Start with the time between outlets, the devices you carry, and the space in your bag.

Choose the reserve you will actually carry

A 10,000mAh power bank suits a routine built around regular access to an outlet: commuting, classes, errands and a backup top-up. A 20,000mAh model gives you more nominal capacity for longer stretches away from power or for sharing across devices. Compare the actual dimensions and weight before buying; a larger reserve only helps if you bring it.

Long days with limited outlet accessMore stored energy and enough time to recharge the bank

Twice the mAh does not promise twice the charging speed

Milliampere-hours describe charge capacity. Watts describe charging power. At the same internal battery voltage, 20,000mAh represents twice the nominal stored energy of 10,000mAh. It does not, by itself, tell you how quickly either model charges your phone. For that, compare the output of the port you will use and the charging protocols your device supports. Our guide to charging watts explains how those limits work together.

Why the number on the box is not a phone-charge count

Power-bank capacity is generally stated for its internal cells. Energy is converted to the output voltage, and some is lost in the bank, cable and device. Your phone also consumes energy while you use it. Dividing the bank’s mAh by your phone’s battery mAh therefore does not establish a reliable number of full charges. Anker’s explanation of nominal and rated capacity describes this distinction; its example is not a measurement of a TEKINFINITE product.

When labels provide watt-hours, use them to compare stored energy across different battery voltages. The relationship is Wh = Ah × V. A hypothetical 10Ah battery at 3.7V stores 37Wh before conversion losses; that is an illustration, not a verified label value for either PowerPulse model.

Choose between the PowerPulse models

PowerPulse 10K offers 10,000mAh nominal capacity. PowerPulse 20K offers 20,000mAh nominal capacity. Read each product’s specifications and compatibility details alongside your device’s requirements. Do not assume equal charging power from every port or when several devices are connected.

Before deciding, answer three questions: how long will you be away from an outlet, what needs charging, and what can you comfortably carry? If a port rating is unclear, ask TEKINFINITE support before ordering.
